When I 1st heard about Google Adsense and how it worked, I keep on wondering why Google are so generous to give money away to website owners for free. I'm sure if you are new to this, you will be wondering too. Are you? Have you ever asked the following questions?

How Google Adsense Works?

Once you are registered with Google Adsense, all you need to do is to place adsense code in your website or blog. Google Adsense program will automatically leveraging its advance technology page analysis system and matches the best possible advertisements with the content on your Web page. This will make the ads works like an auto magic ads which is relevant to your web contents. E.g., if your web page is a review about mobile phones, Google Adsense will automatically placed ads which is relevant to mobile phones. This will allow visitors to your site who are looking for mobile phone reviews, see advertisements about mobile phones.

Where does this advertisements (in this e.g. about mobile phones) comes from?

This is where Google Adsense 'twins', Google Adwords systems comes. These so called advertisers will signed up with Google Adwords and creates one or more advertisements which they will have to payto Google to either appear on Google's search results pages or on "content pages". Content pages is referring to advertisement placed with Adsense in your sites.

How this advertisement works is a bit different compared to if they placed it in television or newspapers. They don't pay to have their adverts show up on either Google or separate content sites, but by "pay per click" or famously known as PPC system. They only pay for ads that are clicked by customers. A portion of the amount that the advertisers pays Google for placing their ads is then share with YOU (Adsense members), if you do use or enable Adsense in your sites.

E.g., if the advertiser pays $0.50 per click for a visitor to their site through Google Adwords, Google will then pay the remaining portion of that amount to you (Adsense Members). Perhaps $0.10 or maybe more (Google have not revealed how much % they do pay or share with Adsense members).

I know.. I know.. $0.10 seems very little, but if you have a sites which is quite popular and getting hits of few hundreds daily, you could easily make $30-$50 weekly or even more. Some Adsense users can easily making money online with adsense at around $3,000 - $5,000 monthly. Its true... Even when I first started with Adsense, I only manage to get $20 during the 1st months. But slowly, once my sites are getting more hits, I managed to earn $128 (2nd month), $285 (3rd month), $443 (4th month) and now, after 3 years with Adsense, I manage to get at around $2,000-$3,000 constantly every month. :-) You can do it too. Just trust with yourself and keep on promoting your sites. There's thousands of ways in promoting your sites to increase your daily hits. Please take note that when you sign up, you will need to specify your website or your weblog that you had just created earlier. However, for your info, not every site is approved by Google, so make sure yours has a valuable and unique contents which will interest others to visit your sites. Please don't include too much advertisements (from other advertising programs or products while registering with Adsense). Once you get your Adsense program approved, you can add all of the other advertisements to your sites.
